1. Introduction
Argon AI, Inc. ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates goargon-ai.com (the "Service") - an AI-powered knowledge retrieval platform built specifically for pharmaceutical medical-affairs teams, including Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) and medical-information functions. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Service, how we use it, and the choices available to you.
Argon is a B2B tool used by medical-affairs professionals at pharmaceutical organizations. Our core service processes internal clinical and regulatory documents - prescribing information, clinical study reports, internal publications - submitted by an organization's administrators, and returns source-grounded answers to queries from authorized team members. A human reviewer reads source citations before responses reach any healthcare professional (HCP). This policy covers data we collect on this website and through direct communications with us; it does not govern customer data processed inside a separately contracted Argon platform deployment.
The Company is based at 22 Boston Wharf Road, Floor 7, Boston, MA 02210, and can be reached at [email protected] or +1 (857) 554-0172.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
We collect information you submit directly, including:
- Contact details (name, work email, phone) when you fill out a demo-request form, request a pilot, or write to us;
- Company information you choose to share (employer, role, therapeutic-area focus, team size);
- The content of any messages, questions, or support requests you send us.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you visit goargon-ai.com, we automatically collect limited technical information:
- IP address and approximate location (city/region level);
- Browser type, operating system, device class;
- Pages visited, referring URLs, time on page;
- Cookie and similar identifiers (see Section 5 and our Cookie Policy).
2.3 We Do Not Knowingly Collect Children's Data
goargon-ai.com is a B2B professional platform not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact [email protected] and we will delete it.
3. How We Use Information
Because Argon serves pharmaceutical and life sciences organizations operating in a regulated environment, we are deliberate about how we handle the information collected through this website. We use it to:
- Respond to demo requests, pilot inquiries, and partnership discussions from medical-affairs teams and pharmaceutical procurement contacts;
- Operate, maintain, and improve this website and associated marketing communications;
- Send service updates and, where required, obtain consent before sending marketing messages;
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud or unauthorized access;
- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not use contact information submitted through this site to train AI models. We do not sell personal information for monetary value. Where applicable state law treats certain advertising arrangements as a "sale" or "share," see your state's section below.
Customer documents indexed through a contracted Argon deployment are governed by the separate data-processing agreement with that customer organization, not by this website privacy policy.
4. Sharing of Information
We share personal information only with:
- Service providers acting on our behalf (for example, web hosting, email delivery, and usage analytics) under contractual confidentiality and data-protection terms;
- Regulatory authorities or law-enforcement bodies, when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, or property;
- A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to this Policy continuing to govern collected information.
We do not sell personal information to third parties.
5. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, and measure usage patterns. For details and choices, see our Cookie Policy.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, to comply with legal or accounting obligations, and to resolve disputes. Demo and inquiry contacts who have not engaged with us within 24 months are removed from active marketing lists. Server access logs are retained for 90 days and then aggregated for trend analysis only. Documents and queries submitted within a contracted Argon platform deployment are subject to the retention terms negotiated with that customer organization.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including TLS encryption in transit, restricted-access databases, role-based access controls, and audit logging of administrative actions. We do not claim third-party security certifications beyond what is stated in any separately executed service agreement. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password if you have a platform account.
8. Your General Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights including access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and the ability to limit certain processing. To make a request, email [email protected] with enough detail for us to identify your record and verify your identity. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
9. Massachusetts Residents
Massachusetts does not currently have a comprehensive consumer privacy statute. As a matter of policy, the Company extends the following baseline rights to all U.S. residents regardless of state of residence.
9.1 Baseline Rights
- Right to Know: request the categories of personal information we have collected about you.
- Right to Delete: request deletion of personal information you have provided.
- Right to Correct: request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Right to Opt Out of Marketing: unsubscribe from marketing emails or opt out via the link in each marketing message.
9.2 How to Exercise
Email [email protected] with a description of your request and enough detail for us to verify your identity. We respond within 45 days.
9.3 Sector-Specific Rights
If you are protected by federal sector laws (for example, HIPAA, GLBA, or FERPA), those laws may give you additional rights with respect to data covered by them. Because Argon serves pharmaceutical organizations, data processed under a customer deployment may be subject to additional obligations under 21 CFR Part 11 or other applicable regulations governing the customer's own compliance posture.
9.4 California Visitors
If you are a California resident, you may also exercise the rights granted under the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA") and California Privacy Rights Act ("CPRA"), including the right to know, the right to delete, the right to correct, and the right to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information and do not "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
To submit a CCPA / CPRA request, email [email protected] with the subject line "California Privacy Request."
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, a notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acknowledgment of the updated Policy.
